Kona White Style 2007 - three days to go...

Next Saturday, February 3rd, the Kona White Style contest will take place in Leogang, Austria. The course is already being shaped, the list of riders is set and the long awaited snow fell at the last minute. Be prepared for a day full of mountain bike action at the foot of a snowy Bikepark Leogang. The long wait is over – it snowed in Leogang last week, just in time for the event. Kona rider Grant Fielder from England, in charge of the course design, is already on-site and building the jumps together with the shapers of the Leo-GANG. This year’s course is situated at a new location, right next to the Schantei lift station. Here, in the city center of Leogang, you will see a lot of different tricks over the snowy jumps, shown by the stars of the European freeride scene. There is even more good news for all bike fans: the new party location for the post-event-party on Saturday night will be at the Kralleralm in Leogang, with no cover charge! 19 international riders and some wildcards have announced their appearance for the Kona White Style. The qualifying runs will take place on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night at 8:30pm, the finalists will complete two runs to determine the final standings. The riders will be competing for 3,000 euros in prize money.
